When driving a heavy-duty diesel pickup or truck, the immense torque generated beneath the hood doesn't come without reason. Many wonder why diesel engine components appear significantly more robust than their gasoline counterparts. High-performance diesel rods typically utilize 4340 forged steel with chromium, nickel, molybdenum, and vanadium additives for optimal strength-to-weight characteristics.
